Makro – Employee Branding video
Makro is a Dutch international food wholesaler brand.
Our team was tasked with creating an employee branding video to attract new talent to Makro in the Czech republic. My specific responsibility was to ensure that the motion graphics elements are aligned with the video’s friendly yet professional tone, particularly when addressing potential future employees.
The project presented a creative challenge due to the constraints we faced. We had a very limited time frame for the animated section, so the graphics needed to be engaging, playful, and straight to the point. To achieve this, we decided to blend elements of fighting video games with stop-motion animation.
This combination allowed us to convey energy and dynamism while keeping the tone approachable and fun, resonating with the younger, tech-savvy audience.
The choice of a video game-inspired aesthetic was not only eye-catching but also helped symbolize the competitive and fast-paced nature of the work environment at Makro, all within a visually compact format.
